This episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast has a lot of heart. Whether it’s Kirby throwing hearts to turn enemies into friends or just a game with heart right in its name, we mean it in the most literal sense with impressions of Kirby Star Allies and the eShop-exclusive Castle of Heart. The lovefest extends to upcoming games too, as we round up indie news big and small from the Game Developers Conference and its corresponding Nindies Showcase, plus evaluate the current state of the eShop. All that, along with a wishlist of forgotten Nintendo franchises we’d love to see on Switch, await in Episode 173!

Which “Nindies” are you most excited to play? Let us know in the comments and we may highlight them in a future episode.  If you enjoyed the show, be sure to subscribe to us on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Google Play Music, or your podcasting app of choice. 1. ive always had an interest in fighting games growing up and even still now, its just ive always been kinda intimidated by them , i always felt like if i didnt play these games before or when they first came out it was too late for me , plus i would have this sense of fear of “losing” felt like if i lost a lot i just straight up wasn’t good and should quit , but after watching your video you made me realize some stuff , 1. fighting games are awesome (totally felt ya on the whole anime tournament arc love those arcs too) 2. persistence is key 3. its okay to lose 4. don’t skip the basics lol thanks for the video ! think im going to give fighting games more of chance thanks ! :)
