Episode 46: Hands-on with E3 2013
E3 2013 may be over, but our coverage certainly isn’t! In our second episode dedicated to the year’s biggest gaming expo, we share hands-on impressions of four of the Wii U’s most anticipated games: Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. We pick up where we left off in our previous E3 episode (Episode 45: E3 2013 Direct Response), combing through Nintendo’s many E3 interviews and briefings to bring you the latest details on these four games and a slew of others, including Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS and the Wii U’s mysterious, original Zelda title. We then turn our attention to third parties, discussing both newly announced titles and Nintendo’s revised strategy for boosting Wii U support. To wrap it all up, we look beyond the games with an analysis of Nintendo’s stance on going multi-platform and the ongoing used games debate. For an expo as big as E3, it’s only right that this episode is packed with content!
