Extra: Comic-Con 2013 in Photos

We came, we saw, we Comic-Con’d. We spent this past weekend taking in all the sights, sounds, free food, and video games of San Diego Comic-Con 2013, and now we’re bringing you the highlights! Below, you can find over 70 photos from the big pop culture expo, featuring all the Nintendo goodness that was on display, the efforts of third-party publishers, and even a few famous faces. The gallery also includes some of the non-gaming sights that struck us as being particularly cool.

As Nintendo has done for the past few years, they set up demos in the convention itself and at a hotel next door. This gave them ample space to show off close to their entire lineup from E3, as well as to feature numerous character statues for photos ops. Third-party publishers such as Ubisoft, Sega, and Disney also got in on the action. Ubisoft literally sailed in a pirate ship for Assassin’s Creed IV, Sega brought back its popular Arcade to show off upcoming games, and Disney put together a special showcase for the toy/game mashup Disney Infinity.
