Episode 64: Diving into the Deep
Whether it’s the depths of the ocean in Steel Diver: Sub Wars or in-depth coverage of Nintendo Direct, we’re going deep in this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast. The show begins with a breakdown of all the news straight from the latest Nintendo Direct, including the seemingly endless list of big 3DS titles, new characters in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, and Nintendo’s first cracks at free-to-play gaming. We then discuss recent third-party news both good (new games!) and bad (Watch Dogs’ delay), before turning our attention to January’s sales numbers and the wonderfully weird Twitch Plays Pokemon. To round out the episode, we return to our oceanic theme for full impressions of Steel Diver: Sub Wars, as well as Wii U eShop title Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams.
What do you think of Steel Diver: Sub Wars and Nintendo’s foray into the world of free-to-play?
