Episode 99: You Gotta Be Squidding Me
From the ink-filled battlefields of Splatoon to the bigger than ever onslaught of pre-E3 news, there’s a lot to cover in this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast. Be it surprise Nintendo Directs with new titles like Chibi-Robo: Zip Line and Monster Hunter X or unintentional leaks of games like a 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors, we round up all the big pre-show stories and share our takes. We also discuss a number of trends we expect to see at this year’s E3, including revivals of big-name franchises, the ever-expanding world of Toy to Life games, and the invasion of VR gaming. Plus, we top it all off with our in-depth impressions of Splatoon.
This is just the beginning of our E3 2015 coverage! Be sure to check back on Wednesday, June 17 for our bonus E3 episode where we’ll break down all the news from Nintendo’s big Digital Event. We’ll also be posting Extra articles throughout this week and next that take you inside E3 events with photos and impressions, including the Nintendo World Championships and more.
