Episode 155: The Spectacular Comic-Con
Like any good comic book, this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast has heroes and villains. On the hero side, you’ve got San Diego Comic-Con 2017. We report back from pop culture’s biggest expo with hands-on impressions of the upcoming New 2DS XL, Hey! Pikmin, and Flip Wars, plus a discussion of how video game adaptions are finally going right. We then turn to the villainous as we talk gaming gone wrong with the snafus of last weekend’s Pokemon Go Fest and the surprising complexity of Nintendo’s Switch Online app. But like with any good story, this episode ends on a positive note as we conclude with a discussion of new third-party Switch games and the sales success of ARMS.
