Since Nintendo considers Splatoon 2 a competitive game, I will definitely say Splatoon 2! Hope I win the contest!
First of all, thanks for the chance and the great content to listen to. Got my first ever Switch less than 3 months ago and for the time being I play only single-player games. However, if we take a bigger picture, Mortal Kombat 11 is undoubtedly the most favourite competitive game of mine. I’ve been playing this series since mid-90s across different platforms and hopefully will get it for Switch too. This game helps me relieve stress and have loads of fun along the way.
Smash no doubt, I’ve been playing it since the 64 lol!
Congrats on the 250th episode guys
Thank you for an interesting question. Games are all about competition. I totally agree. Me and my buddies simply adore a good ol’ rivalry in various sport sims, be it FIFA, NHL, NBA 2K or Madden. Sport sims are the epitome of gaming in my opinion.
Thanks for this giveaway, happy to participate in it. Mostly I play single-player games on my Switch. As for competitive ones I adore all kinds of open world survival games such as Rust, H1Z1, DayZ, Don’t Starve Together and so on. And for the last two weeks I lost myself in Valheim, I’m sure, you heard of it. Great survival game, inspired by Norse mythology, with cute pixel graphics, which brings me and my friends tons of fun and joy. Recommended.
I love competitive games and the switch is a great console for it because of the multiplayer features it has. My favorite is Splatoon 2 since it has a lot of modes and it’s fun to play quick matches online, another favorite is Smash Ultimate but I only play it with my friends. Congrats for the 250th episode and thanks for the chance!
My favorite competitive game has to be Smash!
I don’t play fighting games much but Smash is just so much easier to get into!
For me the Tekken series. I’m a fan since The first game and i been playing in competitions since 3. I hope more people try it and enjoy it like i do.
Favorite competitive game is definitely Smash Ultimate! It’s my favorite installment in my favorite competitive series. Special shout-out to NFL Blitz, NHL Hitz and the Mario baseball and soccer games. Sports games are fun, but they’re even more fun when they’re a bit arcade-like.
Congrats on 250 episodes!
I feel like for me Smash Bros is definitely my favorite competitive game. I remember going over to a friend’s house to play Brawl. It was just a blast to see all of these different characters come together. Smash definitely opened me up to a lot of series I had no idea about too. With Ultimate it’s been a lot of fun speculating on the Fighters Pass and seeing which characters get added next with my all time favorite Banjo & Kazooie being the highlight
Best competitive game for me right now is Pokemon Sword and Shield!
Definitely Smash Bros! Whether playing for fun or for glory it’s really cool to gather around some friends and see who is the best!
For me, right now Competitive games is full of FPS/Figthing games, if i really had to pick one would be a Puzzle one tho, specially Puyo Puyo (its more competitive in Japan) its so fast, you literally have to plan a strategy and both players have the literal 50% chance to win and are under the same conditions (Randomized puyos), while in other games you have the “This character/Build is better or “Meta” or the “This character counter that other”, i thinks thats why its my favorite , and really close by Tetris, yet i feel Tetris is mostly about speed thinking and not strategy!
For now apex because of switch
Rocket league… because my friends
Thanks for entering, everyone! Don’t miss the winner announcement in Episode 251: http://randomnintendo.com/2021/03/28/episode-251-from-the-history-books/
