Episode 105: Fresh Ink

Splatoon is the game that keeps on giving. After nearly three months of new maps and weapons, Nintendo upped the ante by launching a slew of new modes and options. In this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast, we share our updated impressions of the ever-evolving Splatoon and discuss what Nintendo’s drip-feed of new content may mean for future games. But first, we cover all the latest news, kicking off with a discussion of Pokken Tournament coming to Wii U and its potential as a competitive fighter. We then turn our attention to the latest on Super Mario Maker, share our take on the controversy surrounding the Nintendo Treehouse staffer who said too much, and evaluate Nintendo’s holiday plans for the 3DS and its cheaper 2DS counterpart. Plus, we announce the winner of our Guacamelee giveaway.
