Episode 118: Choose Your Fate
Fate is in our hands. Well, Fire Emblem Fates is. In this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast, we journey to the lands of Hoshido and Nohr to share our early impressions of the anticipated 3DS RPG. First, however, we start the show with the latest news, including the launch of Nintendo Accounts, fresh details on Miitomo (along with our theories on the smartphone apps Nintendo will make next), and the likelihood of Pokemon Z becoming a reality. We then turn our attention to an actual Pokemon game, Pokken Tournament, discussing what it will take to make the fighter a long-term success. The episode then concludes with a breakdown of January sales numbers, our Fire Emblem Fates impressions, and a revisit of Mario and Luigi’s last 3DS RPG outing, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

I really like the side of Nohr because the maps have a little more variance than previous games. I managed to snag the special edition though so I’ll be playing all three. Now if I could find a Robin and/or Lucina amiibo…
Hi Jason, Angel, and Elvis,
I’m so sorry that I’ve commented yet on this episode or the next one celebrating Pokemon’s 20th Anniversary. I’ve been so busy and had a lot of family emergences that have all fallen together in the last several weeks
Anyways, just wanted to thank you for this show and the next on Pokemon! I really enjoyed both of them! Thank you so much for all the hard work and dedication! I’m really looking forward to getting to listen to the newest one on Twilight Princess. Oh and it’s been nice having Elvis on the recent shows as well. Thank you again for a great podcast! Haven’t been able to keep up on all the latest news, so looking forward to a crash-course, thanks again!
No need to apologize, Satoshi! Hope everything is okay on your end.
