Episode 136: Switching It Up
Welcome to the Switch era. 583 days after Satoru Iwata first teased the NX codename, we finally got a look at the system, now officially called the Nintendo Switch. In this episode of the Random Nintendo, we cover everything you need to know about the new hybrid device, from official details to rumored features to teases of its first games. We also look at the strategies behind the Switch, including how it will entice third-party publishers and its refined marketing. From there, we expand to Nintendo as a whole with a break down of the company’s latest quarterly financials, before concluding the show with fresh news and hands-on impressions of the upcoming Pokemon Sun & Moon.
