Episode 160: Remember Me?
Samus is back, and in this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast, she brought along a few friends: one’s a plumber, one throws light spears, and one is, um. a collection of party games. Specifically, we’re talking about Metroid: Samus Returns, Super Mario Run’s big 3.0 update, and Switch indies Lichtspeer: Double Speer Edition and Use Your Words – all four of which we share impressions of in this very show. We also dive into the Switch’s runaway success and how it got this far, from learning from the Wii’s mistakes to what the future holds for the system. Plus, we shine a lot on a few Switch games worth watching in the months to come and tell tales of our harrowing SNES Classic launch day experience.
What do you think of Metroid: Samus Returns? Share your thoughts on the big comeback, or any of the topics in this episode, in the comments below.
