Episode 179: Super E3 2018 Bros.
It’s an E3 extravaganza! In this jam-packed episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast, we’re back from E3 2018 with hands-on impressions of Switch games big and small, from blockbusters like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Pokemon Let’s Go to third-party titles like Starlink: Battle for Atlas and Team Sonic Racing to indies like Killer Queen Black and Overcooked 2. Plus, we discuss the games that didn’t make it to the show floor and examine the changing face of the convention.
Any good extravaganza also needs prices! Nintendo passed out all sorts of goodies at their booth, and we’ve compiled them into a special prize pack! Leave a comment below telling us your favorite news from E3 2018, and you could win a set of Mario Tennis Aces pin, a Smash Bros. logo pin, an “I Brought Mine!” Nintendo Switch pin, a Smash Bros. logo towel, and two Nintendo Switch cleaning cloths (all pictured below). The winner will be announced in our next episode, so make sure you don’t miss it by subscribing to us on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play Music, or your podcasting app of choice, and follow us on Twitter @RandomNintendo.
As always, we’ve included links below for more information on the news and games in this episode. Each link also lists a time stamp to easily locate the segments that most interest you. Enjoy!

I’m beyond ecstatic that Ice Climbers are returning to Smash. Now to wait and see if they get an amiibo…
Lots of great Smash news. Haven’t played it since Brawl, so looking forward to Ultimate!
Obvi Smash! Watched Etika’s stream of it too afterwards.
Pokemon Let’s Go, but only because we finally get to ride Pokemon in-game after NEARLY 20 YEARS ASDASFLADJ
Man, nice post!
So much hype for the new smash bros game! We have parties all set for the launch!
My favorite news is Ridley in smash!
It has to be Ridley and the Inklings
I was pleased to hear that Vesperia will be released on the Switch.
Honestly I was excited to hear that the complete version of Tales of Vesperia was finally getting released in the west.
That and Smash bringing everyone back.
Thanks for entering, everyone! Stay tuned for our winner announcement in Ep 180 on Sunday.
Killer Queen Black is the surprise of E3. Love big style party games.
