The concrete is cold. The air is humid. The sounds are hollow. The floors are wet. The smells are pungent. The chains are rusty. I wish I could say that we’re bothered by this. But this was life before. Do we deserve it? Maybe. We did take out two guards during our escape so yeah, we’ll call a spade a spade. This is home for us. This is the RNHQ gulag.
