Episode 275: Sports Tryouts

Think of this episode of the Random Nintendo Podcast as a sport. In the first quarter, we discuss the just-revealed Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The second quarter is dedicated to sports games themselves, from Switch Sports and MLB The Show 22 to the genre as a whole. Our third quarter shifts to fighting games with the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection. The fourth quarter focuses on the announced closure of the 3DS and Wii U eShops and which games to download while you still can. And then, like any good match, we head into overtime with a chaotic, off-topic debate of how to “improve” time zones.
